Lillian was funny, honest and strong.

I am so so sorry to hear about Lillian’s passing. We were at NDNU together for many years, working on the Faculty Union and Senate closely. Lillian was funny, honest and strong. I always knew she would have my back in times of difficulty and that she wouldn’t shy away from hard situations or difficult conversations. Fighting for the union together is one of my best memories of those days.

My dear Lil was a godsend to me and to PCRC!
When I was appointed executive director, I told her I needed her help to get the organization on to a strong financial foundation. And she delivered big time. Mentoring both me and Celia, she was the force behind our growth and stabilization.
At the same time, she became a treasured friend, there for the good times and hard challenges.
I’ll miss her wit and strength but I know we will meet again.
    Love,
    Pat

I am recovering from a broken leg and will not be able to attend the memorial in person, but I’ll be there in spirit.

Thank you so much, Pat. We didn’t know that:) She used the beautiful ceramic mug you gave her every day for her coffee for over 20 years!
