A celebration of Lillian’s life was held at the Unitarian Universalists of San Mateo, Saturday, October 12, 2024.
Thank you to her friends, family and extended family who attended – our family appreciated the presence and kind words of each of you. A video recording of the service will be shared here at a later date. So many inspiring words and stories were shared, we hope that even in her leaving us, her wisdom and character continue to keep inspiring people.
In lieu of flowers, our mother wished for people to donate to her beloved church (choose drop-down menu option for “Lillian Barden Memorial Fund”) or your local public library.
